40 Days of New Testament LOVE : ("heart of it all" flag )

Today, this Granddaughter of a share cropper, born in nineteen hundred and sixty three is up early this morning waving the flag of LOVE. I'm waving it to the left and I'm waving it to the right. I'm waving it to the donkey and I'm waving it to the elephant. And I'm waving it to the Coronavirus  in the air. 

While studying the Prayers of Paul I discovered New Testament Love. The Key Word LOVE occurs in the Biblical Text over four hundred times. The Song of Solomon uses the Key Word LOVE at least thirty times. The OT contains two hundred and forty occurrences, while the New Testament logs two hundred and two. But what I find most compelling is how we can trace a large usage of the Key Word Love to a person and his name is Paul. We know that Jesus's Sermon on the Mount is found in the New Testament Book of Matthew, but do we realize and this teaching uses the Key Word Love eleven times. Incidentally Paul, the writer of the bulk of The New Testament uses The Key Word LOVE some forty two times and the number of times Paul Prayed in the New Testament is also forty two. 

So, with all that said I'm sitting over here in the Heart of Tennessee on the Porch of Prayer and Plenty waving the Flag of Love. And yes, for the next forty days we will be posting and propping up A New Testament Kind of LOVE from the ancient words of the Apostle Paul and I would just love for you to join me for 40 Days of New Testament LOVE!



And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

I adopted my One Word 365 for the year 2024!

  The other day, I adopted my one word for the year. This is a practice I have participated in since 2009. Sadly, most years I selected one word which pertained to something I wanted to accomplish. And, there was even a year, I selected one word of the name of a person I wanted my year to focus on. But, this year I am intentionally turning my focus to who I currently am in Christ Jesus! Since returning to the city of Murfreesboro on 15 October of 2021, I have come to understand and realize the nature of my departure (Covid Times) and the true nature of my return. Since, I was working at Screen Art, I though working there was the reason for my return, until I found myself surprisingly not fired, but replaced without reason, on January 6th of 2023. These Days: I'm learning: How to Design a Screen Printed T-Shirt in Adobe Illustrator ! And it's so much more than this! As the language is different.
