 40 Days of New Testament LOVE (Playlist)

Tomorrow, many are supposedly hoping to renew a commitment to "The Dream" with a new March. Tomorrow is the 57th Anniversary of The March and I just happen to be 57 years old. But, what I am here to tell you is this: Martin's entire thought and theory was based on the teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught his people about Brotherly LOVE. Jesus taught his people how to LOVE a neighbor and an enemy. But Jesus doesn't stop there, Jesus wraps up the entire LOVE FEAST in the Book of Revelation with asking those who once loved him to return to their FIRST LOVE! Martin's entire thought and theory was based on the teaching of Jesus Christ and in the year of my birth Martin was not speaking to those whose coloring we call white.  

  it's finally Friday and just so you know: The Virtual Vehicle of LOVE is on the road again! We are low riding, this weekend, with a cast of unlikely servants such as Dr. John M. Perkins and yes, I can't believe it either but know we stopped by some Wilderness and picked up John the Baptist. And I sure hope y'all ain't too surprised when we eventually drop JTB off on a deserted Greek Island called Patmos. Oh no, did I also fail to mention one of the selling features of The Virtual Vehicle of Love is the ability to function both on land and sea, I think the word is amphibious and the possibilities of our earthly travels are endless, like the LOVE of Jesus Christ. Somebody call Diana Ross & Lionel Richie for me.  :)

Books may come and books may go. Over the course of the last nine years, I've lost many of my favorite books and to me it's like losing that life I love bound in a bookI. So, today I am starting something new. Today, I am starting a new and free archive of the books I have owned and quotes from authors which I love. Also, one thing I love about Amazon is they keep an accurate record of everything you've ever bought from them. And we have the ability to download all of our past and present purchases in a spread sheet form! I am often inspired and compelled to create something new with words strung together by others. This blog post is dedicated to author and Christian Civil Rights leader Dr John M Perkins who is 90 years old at the date of this writing.

Good Morning  Y'all! We took the vehicle of love out for a long ride through the early and mid sixties love songs last night. Please note, after much listening Elvis Presley wins the Saturday Night Dance Song Award for his rendition of   POWER OF MY LOVE ! But, it's a Good News Sunday type of day, and we are having a Sunday sit down with the Apostle Paul, again, and the Book of Galatians. We've isolated our New Testament subject matter and we're digging into this thing called LOVE. Please feel free to join us as we prayerfully study to get a Holy Grip on The Almighty Power of Biblical LOVE. Like most good homilist, although we love music, we start and end our study with the Holy WORD OF GOD!  Tomorrow, we hope to be back atcha with a broad overlook of the Greek meanings of the Key Word LOVE. Webster's Dictionary defines LOVE in three ways: The first is  an intense feeling of deep affection. The second is  a great interest and pleasure in something, such as football. And the third,  definition, which is a verb, is to  feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone.  Wikipedia  says l ove encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states, from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection and to the simplest pleasure. What do you say love is or loves does?  For years I've said Love is a verb! But, here is the thing The Holy Word of God speaks much to what love is and what love does. So today, we taking an up close and personal look at the Key Word LOVE in the Old Testament of the Bible.  Please note, I have included links, so we can focus on the Bible Verses associated with the Key Word LOVE. A Legacy of Love

Today, this Granddaughter of a share cropper, born in nineteen hundred and sixty three is up early this morning waving the flag of LOVE. I'm waving it to the left and I'm waving it to the right. I'm waving it to the donkey and I'm waving it to the elephant. And I'm waving it to the  Coronavirus   in the air.  While studying the Prayers of Paul I discovered  New Testament Love . The Key Word LOVE occurs in the Biblical Text over four hundred times. The Song of Solomon uses the Key Word LOVE at least thirty times. The OT contains two hundred and forty occurrences, while the New Testament logs two hundred and two. But what I find most compelling is how we can trace a large usage of the Key Word Love to a person and his name is Paul. We know that Jesus's Sermon on the Mount is found in the New Testament Book of Matthew, but do we realize and this teaching uses the Key Word Love eleven times.  Incidentally  Paul, the writer of the bulk of The New...
