No other choice but to learn!

I just added this clapboard as a video watermark to all my YouTube Videos! What started out as a Super Small Graphic Design photography/production Business some twenty years or so ago is what it used to be and so much more. 


Of course I had to work the 3PM to whatever shift (sometimes 3AM) at a Daily Newspaper for right at 3 years as a SINGLE MOM to gain much of the production know how I still use today and everyday to produce digital printable products. What's crazy is I also worked at a weekly paper and my job was to produce an advertisement every 15 minutes with my female boss (Frances) breathing down my neck. Praise be to God, Anti-literacy laws are no longer  prevalent here in the land of plenty! I adopted my One Word 365 for the year 2024!

  The other day, I adopted my one word for the year. This is a practice I have participated in since 2009. Sadly, most years I selected one word which pertained to something I wanted to accomplish. And, there was even a year, I selected one word of the name of a person I wanted my year to focus on. But, this year I am intentionally turning my focus to who I currently am in Christ Jesus! Since returning to the city of Murfreesboro on 15 October of 2021, I have come to understand and realize the nature of my departure (Covid Times) and the true nature of my return. Since, I was working at Screen Art, I though working there was the reason for my return, until I found myself surprisingly not fired, but replaced without reason, on January 6th of 2023. This replacement without reason, exactly a month from the date of my sister's surgery, all but destroyed our finances, as we had also just moved into a larger condo. These Days: I'm learning: How to Design a Screen Printed T-Shirt in Adobe Illustrator ! And it's so much more than this! As the language is different. I learned the basics of Adobe Illustrator while a student at Nashville State, twenty years ago. Then I used those basic skills, while working in the newspaper industry. Then, back in 2008, I started blogging. Well, here we are.  The first thing I need to get a handle on is all of the basic positions a design can be placed on a shirt!
