Day 60 (Update) of Tiny Living! (Temporary Tiny Place for Two!)

The other day, I spotted an open door and I stuck my head in it, only to find a beautiful one bedroom condo, completed renovated, ready and waiting to be rented. I just could not help myself, so I called to inquire as to the status. You see, I was desperately planning on looking for a one bedroom place, when the Temporary Tiny Place for Two suddenly, became available. I'd been suddenly working a little more than six weeks without housing, sleeping on my adult children's sofas and I was dog tired. I was dog tired and desperate, when I signed the twelve month lease.
So, here I am. So, here we are.
I keep praying about the beauty of the one bedroom apartment, but the Holy Spirt keeps nugging me to just let it go.
Yesterday, I asked the question. I don't want to live wondering what if. So, I asked my land lord, if there was any way I could maybe transfer my lease.
The Temporary Tiny Place for Two was actually presented to me sight unseen as a one bedroom apartment. From the photos presented I had a sneaky suspicion the unit I put a deposit down on, might not be a one bedroom, I searched the internet high and low and my sneaky suspicion was only confirmed the day I finally saw the place.
I was dog tired and desperate. So, I signed the lease and me and my Mister moved stuff in the Temporary Tiny Place for Two on November 29, 2021.
And I continued to work.
Just a few week before Christmas, I realized the beauty of not having anything more than a blow up mattress, likely meant I had enough room to invite my entire family over for Christmas Lunch, Open House style of course, because the children, grand children and great grand children of my parents number more than fifty people on any day of the week.
So, here I am. So, here we are.
I've been playing the whole thing over and over, back and forth in my head and the one thing I remember is the Land Lord saying the place has a balcony. Now that I've been here a few months, I realize that not all of the units have balconies. I've rented places and spaces before. I've owned two homes, but I've never lived in a place with a city balcony.
Prior to suddenly seeing the one bedroom beauty, I had many plans of making the Temporary Tiny Place for Two a jewel. And I had somewhat also started to create some stunning plans for the balcony.
Karel Hieke states in her book A Concise Guide In Colour - Window - Box, Balcony and Patio Gardening , that "Flowers are an ornament that brighten the environment and glades the heart."
So, here I am. So, here we are on this day sixty of Tiny Living, still settling in and making plans.
