From Sunday to Sunday : Only Jesus Makes All Things NEW: The Restoration STORY: Chapter One
Yesterday, the fourteenth day of March, I purchased a brand new car. I told my daughter the entire ONLY JESUS story of how my sales man Greg picked me up and drove me to the dealership! I received one of those pre-approval letters in the mail and then a follow-up call from Greg. I also shared the news of this letter, with a BSF prayer partner and she committed to pray for all things car related, as my husband's truck is in need of repair. I made an early Saturday morning appointment with Greg as there were some additional incentives to test drive one of their Nissans (Beach Trip for 4) in a a timely fashion. I drove away from the car lot around 12 PM and unlike the last time (2018) I drove away all by myself. But, that's not the Sunday to Sunday part of this story. You see, last Saturday night, I prayed about my recent hard decision to move to Huntsville, you see, I found a house in Huntsville with the coolest basement, in which I could run the Bible Study Studio from. Y'all, the basement was so super cool, it even looked like from the pictures, that there might be a hidden closet in one of the daylight basement walls, of course for all I know it may have been a pipe closet! Anyway, last Saturday night, I prayed about my hard decision, after falling head over heels in love with this house, I prayed. and then, early Sunday morning, I'm scrolling through the internet and this house in my town pops up and it looks like there may be a daylight basement!
Now, although I've yet to mention it, what you need to understand is, I had set my head and heart on living in Huntsville, for the rest of my life, so for a good six months or so, (since 26 October 2025) I completely stopped looking for housing in any shape, form or fashion in my area! I was Huntsville bound.
But, then early last Sunday morning, there it was and close to the interstate was it (another parameter for TBSS). My first glance was from an Internet Map! I looked at all the pictures and this house was beautiful! The daylight basement contained the exact square footage, of the first floor, just like the house (Franklin, TN), I grew up in! The owners had done a complete renovation job on this house, it's basically brand spanking new! So, back to yesterday, the fourteenth day of March, after purchasing the new car, I drove myself, all by myself, directly to this basement house. I told no one, I even turned off my location on my phone! I pull the new car onto the new seed covered concrete and parked in one of the four backyard parking spaces. I got out of the car and peeped in every basement window, I even marched myself up the stairs and stood silently praying on the deck. I walked around front and was a bit saddened as I was not able to see into any of the front windows. I got back into my new vehicle and prepared to drive away, when all of a sudden, there was a man standing there at the car window, politely asking me if I was waiting for a realtor! Of course I said no, for I had not an appointment with anyone! The man introduced himself as the owner, explaining, he was there spraying the bushes and landscaping. Then, a woman appeared at the car window, at which time I continued to explain myself, and suddenly out of nowhere, I heard myself boldly asking to see the interior of the house! And to my surprise, James opened the front door and Delaney thoughtfully ushered me around this dream of a house!
